Anyone can write an article right?
WRONG.
In fact, many people hit the panic button and drop out of bum marketing, losing the potential to earn millions of dollars just because they do not know how to write a good article, or worse, it takes them too long to write an article.
Think about it. Ask yourself how many of you sit there and take 4 hours to write one article? If you want to win at bum marketing, that is simply something you cannot do or you will not make any money at all. You need to churn out at the very minimum FIVE articles an hour, at least.
If you get really good, you can write even more. Someone adept at writing SEO optimized articles can easily write five to ten articles in one hour or a bit more.
Self Doubt Leads To Failure…
Do not “think” yourself out of success.
Think you cannot write that many articles… good, valuable, and interesting articles that will bring in lots of extra cash… well you are wrong.
YES, you can.
Now that is something a TRUE bum marketer can do. Here is an important secret, one you simply must know to get ahead.
Speed is essential when it comes to bum marketing. Your articles do NOT have to be great (but they do have to be good, you do want people to read them and click through after all). They cannot be utter rubbish, but they do not have to be masterpieces of Pulitzer Prize award stature.
Next, let’s look at some super fast writing tips.

The first step in Bum Marketing is to locate niche markets that remain relatively untapped – preferably something that you know a little about. Also ensure that it is a niche that you can identify as one where people have a need or a problem.
1. Find a hungry niche.
2. Research what they’re hungry for – find out what makes them tick.
3. Find an affiliate product that is a perfect match (or you could create one yourself but it’s more work and therefore more risk)
Some places you can look at include places like eBay Pulse, Yahoo Answers, forums, chat rooms and by using some of the keyword tools listed below. You can even look in offline places including newspaper headlines, weekly gossip magazine headlines and so on. Don’t simply assume that the only place you will find ideas is on the web – that’s where almost everyone else is looking. The offline world better reflects what people are really concerned, worried or interested about.
Once you think you may have found a niche market, see if there is a product you can find to solve that niche’s problem.
It could be a product of your own, one you create or a product belonging to someone else. Some good places to find products include Clickbank.com, Commission Junction at cj.com or Linkshare.com which are essentially massive affiliate product directories. Or you can simply perform a simple web search to see if you can find something good with an affiliate program.
There are literally hundreds of website owners willing to pay you a percentage of the sale price of the products and services you endorse. When you become an affiliate with these sites, you are basically advertising for them and can make as much as 75% commission from each sale you are responsible for.
Once you find something good, check to see if the Internet has people who are already servicing this market and then research the product like crazy until you become an expert on it.

Another reason “Bum Marketing” is so aptly named “Bum Marketing” is that as an affiliate marketer, you don’t need a website to make it work. Since the premise behind it is that you write articles with affiliate links either embedded in the article, or in your signature, you’re sending them directly to the sales page for the product you’re promoting.
Without a website, you will significantly cut the cost of doing business because you won’t be paying for site maintenance. Other cost reductions such as, maintaining and providing product and by using effective, lower cost, advertising you will be keeping more profits from you efforts.
But, some articles sites like ezinearticles.com don’t allow you to use or promote affiliate links, so where do you send the visitors if you don’t have a website. That’s easy you send them to a blog. Why a blog? It’s easy to set up, there are no hosting fees when using a service like Wordpress or Blogger, there are no design costs and it takes less than 30 minutes. Plus, you can post all your articles using all the affiliate URL’s you want.
You can update your blog as often as you like with new posts, or even add static pages in a snap, and search engines’ spiders are attracted to the blogs because new bits of information are added to it every day or two. Since, search engines love blogs it’s a super simple and easy to get some extra traffic and earn extra commissions.
Some people opt to create a blog for each set of niche related articles and products that they promote, from which you can provide reviews and other information. The only cost to you is the time spent adding your articles and affiliate links.

If you have not been living under a rock, you should have come across this term. Since this is perfect for newbies starting out, it is only logical I post some of the Bum Marketing basics. Before you rush to buy a Bum Marketing ebook, do check out the information I will be posting in the next series of posts.
If you are brand new to IM and really have not heard the term Bum Marketing, it is basically refers to IM techniques which are so simple that you can make money just sitting on your bum. Well, if you have tried bum marketing, you probably would understand that it is not exactly that simple and it does take time and effort. But you WILL make money if you follow the bum marketing method.
Bum Marketing is actually a form of affiliate marketing, something you probably already know about. When you affiliate market, you promote someone else’s products or services for a cut of the profits they receive. When done correctly, it is an excellent way to make money. The question is this: “How is Bum Marketing any different?”
You can learn everything there is to know about Bum Marketing free. All you have to do is visit the website http://www.bummarketingmethod.com. You can watch a video and sign up for a free course that literally shows you how to work Bum Marketing successfully. It doesn’t even have a program for affiliates yet, though it will likely in the near future, so get in while you can.
In case you are too lazy and want to be a real couch potato and not sign up for the entire course, here is how Bum Marketing works in a nutshell:
Here is how it works, in a very simplified way:
1.You write an article on a topic that has a lot of potential in a niche market. What you want is that article listed in Google or with other popular search engines.
2.Wait for a buyer to read your article, and hopefully you had the sense to place a link (embedded affiliate link) into your article, so the reader clicks through.
3.You make money.
Some describe it in terms of article marketing, because it works in much the same way. You write articles, embed your affiliate links in them and wait for things to happen. For Bum Marketing to work however, you have to follow some important principles.
These principles will be covered in more details in the next post.

This is how Myspace makes most of its money, buy selling advertising and since it’s such a hot rave going on why don’t you? If you use trains and myspace software to build up a list into the thousand range then you can easily rent your bulletin space to some marketers and the best thing about it is you can keep selling this advertising for as along as you want. Before you start selling advertising any smart marketer will want to know the response rate of the people in the bulletin and if it is targeted or just a wide rage of people. Be honest when answering the questions but a marketer wouldn’t mind buying your advertising space if you make it very affordable. You can offer several types of payments when selling advertising, and here are some basic choices below:
Allow them to type up the title for the bulletin and the words they want.
Limit the amount of words they can use or charge extra more per each word.
Allow them to post different ads for the same product for one week, three days, or one day, and give them a discount to those who will choose the longer intervals.

You can also join what are called “whore trains” on Myspace. That is basically a list of people that you add yourself to and keep reposting the list so that you can get a lot of people requesting to be your friends. The difference between this and spamming is when you spam, you send out request for people to be your friends, when your using this method people are requesting to be your friend so its not viewed as spamming.

The more trains you join the more chances you have of receiving lot’s of friends. You can easily get into the thousands within a week using this method. You should never reject a friend, but it can get hectic and annoying accepting a friend so I will recommend purchasing some software that automatically accepts all friends. You can also purchase software that automatically sends out invitations to friends known as badderadder:

Before I describe some ways to get more friends to your myspace profile lets talk about the old fashioned way before there were any software or trains that would enable us to do this automatically. One famous example is Tila Tequila; she has a myspace profile of over one million friends and has made some offline appearances because of her fame. Some others are a recent singer who just recorded a big record label that goes by the name of “Cassie” and the list can go on. It seems like people want to be surrounded by people who are:
Confident
Charismatic
Nice-looking
Ambitious
Unique
Accomplished
Cool
Just think back to high school for a moment, who were the people that were extremely popular? Most likely, the same principles will apply to even adults, I guess something’s never change as I mentioned earlier.
Now, don’t run off if you don’t have all of these characteristics because they are not all needed, and some of them can be learned. People can learn a lot from people just by the way they write and by the way they act. That is why you should take some time and put some serious thought into your myspace profile. I sometimes get random friend invitations that are not the result of automated software because once my friends add me they would say “I like your profile.” If you make your profile creative then people would add you as a friend just as a result of it. You should always add bands because bands usually never reject a friend, at least not as I know of.
Just keep in mind that shouldn’t add too many friends in one day or less it will be viewed as spamming and you will get banned. Around 500 people is the maximum you can add to avoid this. You should look at it as a regular online forum, join communities, make posts, and reply to posts often.
